Their french toast was very buttery and delicious. The matcha misto was good- the matcha base itself is unsweetened but the cream top was sweet. I didn't get much depth in flavor from either and felt that the sweetness of the cream top was closer to the splenda/regular sugar side, and didn't get much cream scent.

Great quick service ! For being on a quick 30 min brake they were fast so it was helpful. Small place to grab a bite . I only had the cold brew Andante , perfect balance. Great work staff. They all had smiles and work fast . Thank you

Relaxed, breezy, and unmistakably LA. Laveta’s outdoor seating, tucked under leafy trees, makes it the perfect spot to linger. The food has highs and lows—the breakfast sandwich and breakfast plate were underwhelming, but the ube waffle? A must. Crisp outside, pillowy inside, with fresh berries and lemon curd. The orange aioli chicken rice was a satisfying mix of crispy and savory. The iced ube latte tasted like melted ice cream—gone in minutes, while the iced matcha latte leaned too milky. Service is warm and easygoing. The vibe and drinks carry the experience. Would I return? For that waffle and latte? No question.

My partner and I stopped in here after lunch for an afternoon pick-me-up and discovered a cute as hell coffee shop we didn’t previously know existed. Laveta is in the heart of Filipinotown and is an adorable coffee shop and restaurant with lots of options both veg and not. While we didn’t try the food items we did each get a drink, I got just a black cold brew (smooth and rich and tasty!) and my partner got an oatmilk iced ube latte (he loved it). There was plenty of seating here, both inside and outside and it’s just decorated so nicely I could have stayed for hours. Will definitely be back to order food very soon. Thanks, Laveta! :)

I tried their iced chai latte and it was quite refreshing for a hot day. The chai flavor tasted really good and had a good balance between that chai spice and creaminess from the milk. It did not taste watered down which was nice. The employee taking my order was also friendly. I will definitely visit again if I’m around the area!

They let me use their restroom and came back after the dodgers parade just to order some food and thanked them for letting me use it haha the food was delicious and the service was excellent and I was able to enjoy the parade because of them, than you guys 🙏🏻

Their food was surprisingly very good. Love the porridge and salad. Plug is available Wifi was quite not stable at first but then they fixed it. Love the vibe.
